John brings over thirty years of senior management operations experiece including start ups in India, Taiwan and the Middle East in the areas of Customer Care, Sales and Marketing. Domestic and international experience includes current and hands on expertise in wireless/wireline telecommunicatons and internet applicaton, development and support companies.
John holds a business degree in Marketing and Advertising from Ryerson University with continued job or project specific training.
John will direct the Operational elements for Text Express including Customer Care, Sales Channel support and liaisse with our offshore Development Centre.
Bob will concentrate on the developement and deployment of Strategic Plans for: Business Development, Marketing and Sales Channel Development.
Garry Nowlan - Senior Partner
Sales and Sales Channels Development
Garry Nowlan is an accomplished Sales and Distribution Channel Management professional with over 30 years of experience in Retail, Direct Sales, Sales Training/Support, Marketing and Product Management in the wireless and wireline telecommunications industry.
He is a graduate of Ryerson University where he studied Business Administration with a Marketing Major.
Garry has taken a full time position with Text Express to direct the selection, development and support of Text Express' sales channel requirements for the North American market..
Gary Miller - CFO
Gary Miller is a seasoned financial executive with experience in public, private and entrepreneurial businesses. His career has spanned retail, wholesale, distribution, and high tech industries in both Canada and the United States. Gary's most recent experience includes 10 years as Sr. V.P. and C.F.O. for two multi-national apparel retailers. His responsibilities included strategic planning, logistics and distribution, information technology, and the legal department as well as the financial and corporate reporting functions.
Gary's past experience encompasses acquisitions, divestments, systems conversions, cost containment and reengineering projects that have significantly improved the operating viability and cash flows of his organizations.
He is a chartered accountant from Deloitte & Touche and holds a B.Sc. degree in chemistry from the University of Toronto.
Gary is providing the financial and administrative expertise within the company and, together with the other members of the senior team develop and execute the business strategy for Text Express.
Product Research, Development and Support
Visual Quest India Inc (VQI), located in Hyderabad India, is an IT solutions company, that provides software development and support services to Text Express.
Since 1996, VQI's Application and Development Teams have invested over 3 man-years in wireless application research, development, deployment, implementation and support. The business relationship has been in place since April 1996 including frequent visits to and from India to validate and improve business processes.
Customer and Market Support
DIBA International (DIBA), located in Toronto Canada, is an Application Development and Support company, that will support on-line, phone and in person customer and sales channel needs. DIBA has been involved with Text Express since day one and includes direct business processes with VQI since March 2001.
DIBA's senior management team, brings to the table, over 70 years of proven senior management skills in the critical operational areas of Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, Training, Application Development and Managed Hosting and Support Services. Experience includes current and hands on senior management involvement with domestic and international start up companies in the wireless, wireline and internet industries.
